At VRD Tea Vintage Blends, every sip tells a story — a story of passion, freshness, and family.

I’m Abishek Dhariwal, the founder of VRD Tea, and my journey with tea began long before this brand was born. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by tea — not just the drink, but everything that surrounds it: the aroma of fresh leaves, the serenity of the gardens, and the joy it brings to people across generations.

The first tea garden I ever visited was in Darjeeling, and I still remember being mesmerized by the lush green leaves swaying in the mountain breeze. Over the years, I’ve explored many tea estates across India and Nepal — including Kolukkumalai, the highest tea estate in the world. Wherever I went, I brought back samples, brewed blends, and shared cups with family and friends.

What started as a personal passion eventually became a craft. With formal certifications and deep experience in tea tasting and blending, I’ve mastered the art of creating well-balanced, flavourful teas. At VRD Tea, we source fresh teas directly from gardens and blend them meticulously to offer the perfect balance of taste, aroma, and freshness in every cup.

We believe in purity — that’s why we use 100% natural ingredients, and never add artificial flavors or colours to our teas.

But VRD Tea is more than just a brand — it’s deeply personal.

The name “VRD” is inspired by my sister Vridhi, whose courage and warmth have shaped my life in countless ways. Her strength is the soul of this brand, and she reminds me every day why we do what we do.
